Summer in Bloom

Greg Garand's landscapes feature sweeping views of his home province of Prince Edward Island, steeped in the Island’s unique beauty.  His thoughtful interpretation is sensitive to the colours of the land and the development of community upon it.  Greg often takes inspiration by exploring and painting 'on site'  - working en pleine air - to capture the subtle movement of light on the fields of lush green and seascapes of rich, red earth, which are the hallmarks of his work. 

Alexandrya Eaton's practice also involves an exploration of colour, celebrated most powerfully in her brilliant floral works.  Drya’s open and free painting style creates explosions of colourful flowers both in the fields of New Brunswick and on the table.  These new works include large canvases that allow Drya the freedom to be her most expressive and playful.  

This exhibition opens on Friday, September 18 from 4:30 - 6 pm in the Gallery.  Both artists will be in attendence and everyone is welcome.  The exhibition continues until October 9, 2026.
