Quietude - A New Collection of Paintings by Susan Paterson

Quietude is a word that describes 'a state of being calm and peaceful'.   Surely, as the world feels calamitous and filled with anxiety, a little pause to rest in the beauty and peace of finely executed paintings by Susan Paterson is a welcomed change.

This exhibition of recent work examines Susan's exploration into still life and landscape painting.  Her 'old world' approach to her subject reflects the time honoured traditions of patience, attention to detail and developing one's craft to an extraordinary level. 

This exhibition will not be 'opening' with an artist's reception due to Covid 19 concerns however the gallery will be available to local viewers on Thursday and Friday of every week as well as being available for a private viewing at any time by arranging an appointment in advance.  This exhibition continues until November 6, 2020.
