Due to Covid-19 we have implemented a few guidelines to help keep everyone safe: COVID-19 Gallery Guidelines
Maritimers, in general, have a reputation for having a ‘love of home’. Fog Forest Gallery has invited six well known, respected, landscape painters to give us their view of ‘home’.
A Sense of Place introduces us to the lush green fields of Prince Edward Island and the waves at Stanhope Beach by Greg Garand. Lynn Wigginton gives us the rugged Bay of Fundy near Saint John. Christopher Gorey's portraits of small towns and villages in Nova Scotia and New Brunswick are filled with atmosphere and community. Dean Reeves' chalk pastels are vibrant and express the excitement that he is experiencing as he discovers new places in his 'new home'. Peter Manchester roams about Southeast New Brunswick and examines places and things that catch his eye ... from afternoon clouds to cattails and tidal creeks. And mc parker gives us an indepth and emotional view of the marshes of the Tantramar as she revisits the haunts of Sir Charles GD Roberts in his Tantramar Revisited poem.
All are seasoned artists. All are exceptional painters. All have given their best work to define ‘A Sense of Place’. Enjoy.
