Printmakers are a special kind of artist. They see the result before they begin. They plan and organize the imagery into layers of minute details and textures and colours. They have remarkable commitment to their 'craft' and the patience to toil over their plates, their screens, their stones ... until the image has been rendered. And then the printing begins. Another labour of love.
