Cliff Turner was born in South Africa in 1967 but immigrated to Canada, with his family in 1976. He studied art at the University of Toronto earning his BFA in 1994. In 1998 he graduated from the University of New Brunswick with a Bachelor of Education degree.
Cliff’s hyper-realist paintings have been featured in both solo and group exhibitions in private and public galleries throughout Canada. His paintings have been included in collections and public art commissions such as: New Brunswick Art Bank, Irving Oil, Cox and Palmer and Osler – to name a few.
In 2017, he began The Artists Project: A teaching space that specializes in the technical aspect of oil painting. Courses are run periodically throughout the year and, in addition to his own work, have become extremely popular.
